BIOGRAPHY

Gobshite started rhyming at Castle Rock cafe in Leicester city in the early 2000's, basically spitting freestyles every weekend.

Stepped his game up a little and started writing, releasing an EP on wax with Leicester producer Ralfabetix, entitled Uninvited Guests - 'Çity of Odd'.

Went on to form MGC (Molesta Gritty Committee) with, amongst others, friends Disebeats and Taskoner. Gobshite moved to Cambodia in 2009 and has continued to make tunes both with new heads in his adopted home and his original fam from MGC.

MGC's roots lie at the now closed down Castle Rock cafe based in Leicester city centre. Here on a weekly basis the city's finest MC's, DJ'S, graffiti writers and breakdancers would come together to enjoy the culture that is Hip-Hop.

Through mutual love of the 4 elements, a crew was born, consisting of the above mentioned artists.

Dise was resident DJ alongside Casio and Pohmone, and it was at this particular venue that Gobshite first grabbed a mic.

Tasker (a well known DNB mc in the city) also frequented Castle Rock, a mutual love of the music bringing together the crew now known as MGC. The Committee also has extended fam in Pip Jordan (P.I.P), Levi Muttock (Gobshites younger brother "Lewshey") and newcomer Ryan Palmer (Synopsis).

They have performed on numerous occasions in Leicester and surrounding areas, free parties and festivals, staying true to themselves and their peers. MGC has one aim, to represent and bring back the boom bap to this pop-hop diluted excuse for a culture.
