BIOGRAPHY
EMBRA, aka DJ Ryan-e (Ryan Embra), started producing D'n'B 4 years ago and made a few dance/club anthems 2 years later as DJ Ryan-e. In the summer of 2010 DJ Ryan-e started producing hiphop, R'n'B and indie
tunes, as well as dance and dubstep beats. In Dec 2010 DJ Ryan-e teamed up with rapper SIK-1 and singer SATIVA to release his first tune on YouTube, 'When I Drop'.
On New Year's Eve 2010 Ryan Embra was approached by MILITANT MINDZ UK from Banbury, and took the opportunity to get his music heard with a group of well-known rappers in the area: BEX, GIBBZ, BENZA, SUSPECKT and RASHKIE. As a result DJ Ryan-e changed his name to EMBRA and made an album called 'LIFE STORIES'. MILITANTS branched off and EMBRA made music for artists such as THE CAUSE, SMOKAHOLICS (BEX & GIBBZ), LYRICAL-T, ASHA TOP MASHA, SIK-1 & CONFLICT, DANJA MC, BE-SPOKE, T R A V and many other artists, as EMBRA likes to work with anyone and everyone.
To sum up 2011... EMBRA featured on the 'Weather Warning' E.P. (Danja MC) with artists such as HARRY SHOTTAH, FATMAN D, DOUBLE O and TIGER EYES. On the 23rd of December 2011 SIK-1 & CONFLICT performed EMBRA beats at a
PROFESSOR GREEN gig in Banbury.
Who knows what 2012 brings????? Bring on the live nights/gigs etc... and the 'Only Toking' album with SMOKAHOLICS. The T R A V album, SIK-1 & CONFLICT album... maybe a club album too lol :-)...... |
