Were obviously gutted for both Houghton Festival and Boardmasters this weekend. We know the phenomenal amount of work that goes into making parties like this happen, so its heart-breaking to see the organisers being forced into cancelling due to a factor thats completely out of anyones control.
No one will be surprised that were particularly cut up about Houghtons cancellation. A big part of the crew and performing artists behind this special party are close friends and family of ours, not least the festivals curator and musical visionary.
While its disappointing for everyone who was getting ready for a weekend of fun, health and safety must always be the number one priority, and we fully support the organisers decision in both cases.
For anyone in London whos still up for a party tonight, weve got Spacetravel and Gene On Earth flying in from Berlin two artists closely aligned with both ours and Houghtons sound worlds. Anyone who was meant to be at either festival this weekend is welcome to a free drink on us just show your festival ticket at the door when you arrive.
We extend our thoughts out to the hardworking teams behind both events, and are already looking forward to seeing them make their comebacks in 2020.

Happy Pride 2019
As London prepares to celebrate diversity across the LGBT+ community at this weekends Pride parade, we wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on what the celebrations mean for us. Especially with this year marking the 50th anniversary of the historic Stonewall riots, we feel its an extra special time to celebrate our LGBT+ family.
We think this weekend is as good a time as any to remind ourselves of the roots of electronic music, a culture that was started by queer communities in New York as early as the 1970s. Dance music was an important haven for marginalised groups, and its been that way through its entire history.
Its something weve long supported in our own space. From our early years hosting parties like DTPM and WetYourSelf!, through to our support of London friends like He.She.They, Little Gay Brother, ADONIS! and the launch of our own Love Child series, weve always wanted to give everyone the chance to express their individuality.
Ever since we opened, the disco has celebrated the LGBT+ community, and we promise our space will remain open to everyone. After all, electronic music is about community. The LGBT+ family will always be at the heart of that.
